Infected Insect Bites
What is an Infected Insect Bite?
An infected insect bite happens when bacteria enter the skin after a bite or sting, causing redness, swelling, pain, and sometimes pus. The area may become increasingly sore or warm to touch. Most mild infections can be treated with cleaning and antibiotics if needed.
