Ear Wax Removal

Description

Ear Wax Removal by Micro suction — Safe, Gentle & Same-Week Appointments

Blocked ears? Muffled hearing? Itchy or feeling “full”? You don’t need to wait weeks for a GP referral. Our pharmacy offers professional ear micro suction — the method recommended by ENT specialists — with appointments you can book online in minutes.

Simple, Fair Pricing

  • £20 consultation fee — full ear examination and hearing check
  • £50 if micro suction is needed for one ear
  • £80 if micro suction is needed for both ears

Your £20 consultation fee is deducted from the cost of treatment if wax removal is carried out on the day — so you only ever pay £50 or £80 in total. If no wax removal is needed, you simply pay the £20 consultation fee.

Please Prepare Your Ears Before Your Appointment
We require all patients to use olive oil ear drops for 7 days before their appointment — 2–3 drops, 2–3 times a day. This softens the wax and makes removal quicker, gentler, and more effective. Drops are available in-store or online.
If your ears are not adequately prepared, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

What’s Included in Your Appointment
Using the award-winning TympaHealth system, in a single 30-minute appointment you’ll get:

  • A digital ear examination with a high-definition video otoscope — you can see inside your own ears on screen
  • Micro suction wax removal if needed — gentle, water-free, and immediately effective
  • A hearing check to screen for any concerns

Where helpful, our clinicians can share findings with audiologists and ENT specialists for expert input — no hospital wait needed.

Why Micro suction?
It’s the gold standard for ear wax removal:

  • Safer than syringing — no water in the ear canal
  • More comfortable — most patients feel only a light suction
  • Suitable for more people, including those with perforated eardrums, grommets, or hearing aids

Before You Book
When you book, we’ll email you:

  • A Patient Information Leaflet explaining the procedure and any risks
  • A short medical history form to complete before your appointment

Please read and return these before you arrive — they help us deliver the safest, most effective treatment.
